Donald Trump‘s sign on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was temporarily put behind bars, and how beautiful it was to see the President – albeit only his name – cop a taste of his own medicine.
According to HuffPost, street artist Plastic Jesus assembled the bars with industrial-strength sticky tape this week. “There have been calls to jail Trump since the day he was elected,” Plastic Jesus told HuffPost, “and today he was certainly put behind bars.”
As all good things must come to an end, it didn’t take long for the beautiful exhibit to infuriate some absolute fun-sponge Trump supporters. Boo.
The good news? As the British-born artist explained to HuffPost, the tape actually proved rather difficult to remove, including several failed attempts.
“Although it was very quickly damaged by a Trump supporter trying to remove it, the bars did appear to be stuck fast and were there several hours later ― to the amusement of thousands of passing tourists.”
How many Trump-supporters does it take to remove sticky tape? Too many, TBH.
