A 25-year-old man has died after being stabbed outside Adelaide’s Elizabeth shopping centre last night.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 7:00pm. The Blakeview father-of-three was treated for a serious wound to his chest and abdomen at the scene, before being rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The centre was open for late-night trade at the time of the attack, and witnesses to the stabbing report the suspect escaped the scene. It’s been reported he was in the company of a woman pushing a stroller carrying an infant.
It’s believed the two men were known to each other.
Police are currently searching for the suspect, who is described as 180cm, Caucasian in appearance, and with a slim build. Anyone with info has been urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
