The youths of today, they love that Yeezy bloke, don’t they? Just love him and his hippity hop muzack. Or at least one Dylan Minnette – aka Clay from 13 Reasons Why, Young Person™ – certainly does, because there’s video footage of him livin’ it up through the smoke machines at last night’s album listening party for West’s new collab with Kid Cudi, Kids See Ghosts.

Kids See Ghosts drops just a week after West’s Ye, and features a guest verse from Pusha-T, as well as a v prominent sample from a Kurt Cobain home recording, ‘Burn the Rain‘. As of rn, the record is not available to stream on Spotify or Apple Music.
Still, the first reviews or at least the first public reacts to the album are in, and, well, the rappers’ union has inspired some top notch feels and takes, takes and feels.

Off one listen, Ye either rushed his own album or spent all his attention perfecting #KidsSeeGhosts. His raps are more focused and nuanced. He’s not spitting lines for clickbait. Substance, but still moments of emptiness.
