And It’s Here: Kanye West’s Latest Album ‘Ye’ Hits Spotify

Following an extremely impromptu and y’huge listening party this morning (local time) for his new album yeKanye West has released the highly-anticipated album on multiple streaming services including Spotify and Tidal. 

Words on the album art reads “I hate being Bi-Polar /It’s awesome.”

There are seven tracks in total and based on reactions from today’s listening party – well this is the majority of reactions:

Depending on your own personal tastes, it’s been a bizarre or extremely Kanye West start to the year. Off the top of my head I think of Kanye and his shared dragon energy with US President Donald Trump, the Kanye-signed Make America Great Again cap, and Kanye shaving his head in honour of Parkland Shooting survivor Emma González.

This morning, the artist suddenly announced he would be having a listening party for his album ye. Fans could also tune into the listening party via the app WAV.

According to VarietyKanye summoned 150 reporters to the mountains of Wyoming. Merch was available as was a helluva lot of food for the large amount of press.

With social media connecting us to wherever WiFi is available, fans who didn’t download the app caught some snippets here and there.

Vevo’s Jason Rodriguez tweeted a coupla updates and snaps:

According to Rodriguez Jonah Hill, Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, and Ty Dolla Sign were among the talent there. Chris Rock introduced Kanye.
