WATCH: The Oasis Documentary Trailer Teases Maximum Archival Gallagher-Biff

Firstly, before we begin, we need to state for the record that this film did not lock Liam and Noel Gallagher in a room together with a case of beer just to see what unfolds over the ensuing 2-hours. And that fact alone is immensely disappointing.

That being said, the full-length documentary on the rise and multiple implosions of the stupidly popular band still looks remarkably good.
Supersonic‘ charts the band’s rise from a knockabout group of Manchester lugs through their literal overnight success to being one of the biggest bands music has seen this side of The Beatles.
Using archival footage from the Gallagher family vaults, as well as their countless professionally filmed concerts and appearances, possibly the most volatile rock band ever lays the facts straight, and if there are no instances of Liam hanging weapons-grade shit on his brother, may we politely suggest requesting a refund.
The film is being handled by the same team behind ‘Amy,’ the riveting portrait of the late, great Amy Winehouse, so that alone should be enough to get you keen.

Supersonic‘ arrives in very select cinemas on October 2. The DVD and streaming version is set for release on October 31.
