Noel Gallagher Says Oasis Will Play A Reunion Show… For 20 Million Pounds

They were so popular and listenable that they’ve been rendered almost completely unlistenable by their oversaturation: Oasis are a band that people sure hate because they used to love them so much.

The band split in 2009 and have vocally opposed any sort of reunion, as vocalists and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher hate each other almost as much as people love it when the guy at the pub who plays covers on Wednesday nights does “Wonderwall“.
While he was almost certainly joking, diehard fans of Oasis (who possibly don’t exist in 2016) can take comfort in the fact that Noel Gallagher has come out saying that he’ll do a reunion show if they’re paid 20 million pounds (very almost $40 million in Aussie bucks) for the one concert:
“For 20 million quid, one gig – that is good money isn’t it? But I have never had that offer from anyone yet.”
In the very likely event that that never happens, you could instead listen to Sydney Brit-pop band DMA’s who are an almost carbon copy rip-off of Oasis.
