A million points for the masturbatory synergy department over at Channel Nine (Ray Warren continues to sparkle as the designated TV show plugger, a role he’s surprisingly great at) for following up the Delta Goodrem warble in game one with a performance from fellow The Voice judge Seal. As always it’s kind of impossible to dislike this guy. Has anyone spent more time totally baked out of their mind on prime time national television? Surely not. Not loving the future Bieber get-up and the crowd feels super unengaged but he’s a natural performer and the message of the song could not be more appropriate: “We’re never gonna survive unless…We get a little crazy.” The Blues took heed and we’re heading for a game three decider at Suncorp where either Keith or Joel will sing a vaguely sports-related song about seizing the moment or something.
