You might recognise the sweet voice of Sally Seltmann from the music performed under her previous moniker New Buffalo, and her knack for great songwriting was awarded with a Grammy for Feist’s “1, 2, 3, 4”. Now she’s emerging from the shadows of alter-egos and Canadian songbirds for the release of Heart That’s Pounding – her full-length debut.
Pedestrian is chuffed to be supporting Sally’s forthcoming Australian Album Launch Tour which kicks off in July and features her band, including Jessica Venables (aka Jessica Says), Mark Monnone (The Lucksmiths), Tim Harvey (Hot Little Hands) and Sally’s husband Darren Seltmann. Together the band will be performing songs from Sally’s acclaimed new album as well as reaching back into the New Buffalo catalogue.
Heart That’s Pounding has already been garnering glowing reviews and first single “Harmony To My Heartbeat” is quickly becoming a radio favourite.
