Blasko, Seltmann, Throsby Trio To Make Live Debut At Splendour In The Grass

Following excitable tweets about a joint album late last year, Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby have today unveiled a name for their all-girl supergroup, Seeker Lover Keeper, as well as the site of their debut live performance, this year’s Splendour In The Grass. We have no idea what they’ll sound like (we can hazard a guess) but according to their Splendour artist bio it’ll be something along the lines of nostalgic pop: “All three are distinct talents, but there are common threads between their songwriting too: an underlying sense of nostalgia; the golden, sing-along pop tunes; and the complicated lyrics about seeking love, and how difficult it is to hold onto once you’ve got it.” Another common thread? Four syllable names and the ability to make dudes with excessive facial hair quiver.
