After a excruciatingly long wait, Cher‘s ABBA tribute album has finally arrived and it is gewd.

The album, a result of Cher’s small yet almighty cameo in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, features ten songs by the Swedish pop group… revamped and given the ~ Cher ~ effect.
Upon the album’s release and immediate fanfare Cher tweeted: “I’m thrilled if the music lifts you up, makes you want to sing and dance around your room….Or helps you cry and not feel completely alone.”

I’m thrilled if the music lifts you up, makes you want to sing & dance around your room….Or helps you cry & not feel completely alone.
These can be strange times.
I was beyond excited singing these songs, & I hope You’re HAPPY🎉listening to them

The album’s not doing too bad with the critics either. The Guardian gave the album 4/5 stars and included the words“ingenious Abba-dabbling” right in the headline while US Weekly opened up their review with the words: “The one bad thing about Cher’s new album, Dancing Queen (out now), is that it’s only 10 songs” and gave it an overall 3.5 (out of 4) stars.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Meanwhile, fans on Twitter are absolutely delighted with Dancing Queen.

Dancing Queen is available on Apple Music, the iTunes Store, and Google Play.
Here’s the album on Spotify:
But if you’re looking for a quick listen, Cher also uploaded a couple of tunes to her YouTube channel. Just today we copped the audio to ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘The Winner Takes It All’, ‘Waterloo’, and ‘Chiquitita’.
On YouTube there’s also the audio for ‘One of Us’ and ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) annnnnnnnnnnd this baby.
Find them all on YouTube HERE.
The music video, directed by Jake Wilson, doesn’t actually feature Cher but it does have an all-female cast of different races and ages. Australian artist Betty Who features in the music video alongside American actors Aimee Carrero, and Rumer Willis.
Sidenote: Cher is just casually in Australia at the moment for her Here We Go Again! tour so you can literally hear these songs live.
Last week due to popular demand, Cher’s team added another Melbourne show to the roster and this week, Sydney copped the same treatment so if you’re keen to make a spontaneous decision you can do so via Ticketek, HERE.
P.S Dancing Queen merch IS ON THE WAY.
