Not only is it Friday folks but today is the day we can finally wrap our ears around the tune ‘Shallow’ – that humongous duet Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sing in the upcoming musical A Star Is Born.

Warning: it’s emotional as hell and one of 34 songs on the official soundtrack.
A Star is Born is the fourth remake of this classic love story and stars Gaga in her first feature film role as Ally, a struggling singer-songwriter. Cooper, who also makes his directorial debut with this film, stars as Jackson Maine – a veteran muso. The two meet one night when Jackson watches Ally perform at a bar and almost immediately, he’s love-struck. Just as Ally has all but given up on a professional music career, Jackson convinces her to join him on stage and Ally’s talent shines.
But as Ally’s career skyrockets, her relationship with Jackson suffers.
Gaga shared a snippet from the music video to her Twitter account, earlier today.

It goes without saying, fans are really looking forward to this film.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 97 per cent Want To See rating while critics gave the movie a spectacular 95 per cent fresh rating based off of 88 reviews – 84 positive and 4 negative.
I mean, Variety wrote in their review that Star is “a transcendent Hollywood movie”, one that “nails the rock world”. And even though it is a fourth remake, it’s far more than a “a throwback – it’s a reminder of the scrappy grand passion that movies are all about.”
LOCK IT IN.
Meanwhile, the duo just celebrated the film’s London premiere and the pictures are divine.
What a dream come true to be in London for the premiere of my first film. I’m so proud to be here with my incredible director and co-star. #AStarIsBorn pic.twitter.com/rzDI8iZVPF
