Perf Angel Carly Rae Jepsen Just Announced Her 4th Album & We’re Not Worthy

Even though it’s currently the Trick Day over in the US, this one is absolutely not a joke. True angel and hero, Carly Rae Jepsen, is releasing her fourth album in May. It’s coming. It’s happening. Tt’s NEXT MONTH. Hold onto your dancing butts, the cat’s outta the bag.

The new album, Dedicated, is set for a May 17 release which is just over a month away (44 days, but who’s counting?) and if the cheeky singles she dropped in November 2018 and February this year are anything to go by, I’ll probably end up singing it cover to cover at the top of my lungs at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve again. It’s very likely going to be that good.

Choosing April 1 in the States is a bold move, but it’s paying off in spades as time and date don’t mean a single thing to CRJ fans who have been waiting almost four years for a follow up to 2015’s Emotion.

Along with the announcement of the new album, Carly Rae Jepsen’s also dropped a healthy-lookin’ tour across the US for the American summer, and before you get all razzed up about her touring – she’ll be in Pennsylvania and Maryland over the Splendour In The Grass weekend. Sorry to disappoint.

BUT, the album drop also means that she’ll be diving headfirst into an album cycle, which could mean a world tour. So uhhhh CRJ Aussie tour when? Give it to me. Immediately.

Until then, let us just play ‘Now That I Found You‘ on repeat until the new album arrives to bless us with pure, unadulterated pop goodness.
