Rumours Still Abound That Honey Badger Wanted To Sling A Ring To Brooke

Did you want an update on the latest Bachelor rumour that is almost definitely not true, but maybe it could be true, who knows for sure? Of course you do, you’re here. So long as you keep clicking, I’m going to keep you abreast of the blatant conjecture and fun ~sources~ spilling goss about the rugby dude who broke 28 women’s hearts one by one.

Today’s, courtesy of Woman’s Day, features Brooke Blurton – still the hot favourite to win Honey Badger‘s heart even now, four days after the finale aired.

Cummins’ mate has divulged the secret about Badge’s true feelings to the tabloid: “He wanted to reveal his true feelings for Brooke.”

Apparently days after he brutally dumped Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley – joint winners of this season??? – HB went on a holiday to Western Australia, and as everyone knows Blurton lives in Perth (WOW, EVIDENCE.)

Here he is in WA in a video posted late June which maybe checks out in terms of the timeline (???), it’s hard to know without being sure exactly when filming started. Also Kununurra and the Kimberley, the places where he geotagged Insta shots, are FUCKING FOREVER AWAY from Perth. Like Cairns to Melbourne, 34 hours in a car, far.

Let’s go back to the mysterious friend source, who said Badge was “in hell” and “broken” after the 23-year-old bailed on Bachie:

Nick’s a genuine guy and he didn’t want to hurt any of the girls, most of all Brooke. When he realised she was the one he had true feelings for, he ended things with the other two and finally confessed to Brooke how he really felt – took him long enough!

Woman’s Day also believe that Honey Badger had designed a commitment ring for Blurton. They spoke to the jeweller about it – although the jeweller of course could not weigh in on the ring’s intended recipient.

Let’s leave it with Larsen Jewellery‘s Kate Reid: “Nick was extremely enthusiastic about the design process with our team, wanting the ring to encompass the emotional and spiritual journey that he has been through during the show.”

Fun fact: the same jeweller, with stores in Sydney and Melbourne, designed the promise ring Matty J gave Laura Byrne last season.

Honey Badger’s believed to intend to give the ring – which is supposedly in Network Ten‘s safe hands – to Blurton when he lands back in Aus after his Kokoka trek.

Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV last week, finalist Brittany Hockley said that despite some believing Blurton would’ve made it to the final two if she had not walked out, she “truly believed that the people [Cummins] wanted to be there were there“.

He and Brooke, there’s absolutely no doubt that she’s such a beautiful person and they definitely had this connection, but she went to him saying ‘Please give me any sign that it’s me,’ and he said ‘It’s not’ basically. He had every opportunity to say ‘Stay,’ she only needed one word. She just needed ‘Stay’. I think they had something special.

After he walked Brooke to the car he did come in and speak to Sophie and I and unfortunately that was [cut from the episode] but he did really say to us, reiterate, that it was supposed to be us that was there, and he wanted us to know that this was exactly what he had in mind.

So there you go. Honey Badger may go profess his love to Blurton when he gets home, but also maybe he won’t. He does have his new book The Honey Badger Guide to Life to promote first.
