Vanessa Hudgens has come under fire for comments made on Instagram Live about the global coronavirus pandemic.
Addressing the rumours that we’ll be in isolation until July, the High School Musical star said:
“Um, yeah, ’til July sounds like a bunch of bullshit. I’m sorry, but like, it’s a virus, I get it, like, I respect it, but at the same time I’m like, even if everybody gets it, like yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible but like, inevitable?”
Moments later, Hudgens attempted to backtrack, saying, “I don’t know. Maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now.”
Before long, the video had gone viral as loads of punters called her out on her comments.
What a horrible and heartless message for you to share with the younger people who look up to you @VanessaHudgens https://t.co/p0vIekdigP
