Sweet merciful Christ, if there’s anything we need to experience in our lifetimes, it’s Jason Alexander deigning our fine shores with his presence once more.

With the birth of Melbourne’s George Costanza-themed bar – named George’s, natch – there’s never been a better time for the dude to drape himself in velvet, rock up to the joint in Fitzroy and make all of our Seinfeld2000 dreams come true.

We like to believe that’s exactly what’s going to happen, because Alexander cottoned on to the whole deal early this morning.
