Veteran actor Michael McKean (This Is Spinal Tap, Best In Show, pretty much every other Christopher Guest film) is the latest castmember to join Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spin-off centred on Saul Goodman’s pre-Walter White legal career.
McKean joins Bob Odenkirk as Saul and Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut in the series, playing a new character: Dr. Thurber, an attorney who’s restricted by “an unusual affliction.”
The show will be helmed by Breaking Bad writer Thomas Schnauz. Aaron Paul – aka all of our bb Jesse Pinkman – has also hinted he’ll make guest appearances in the show.
Better Call Saul premieres on AMC in November.
