Bryan Cranston Is Mad Keen To Bring Walter White Back For ‘Better Call Saul’

Look, we all miss Walter White. It’s been a while now since Breaking Bad finished and even though Walt’s a confirmed piece of shit, we still miss his wacky antics (most of which involved some degree of murder). But at the very least we still have Better Call Saul, which fucken rules.

Actor Bryan Cranston appeared on The Rich Eisen Show and confirmed that he’d be keen to reprise the role of Walt in Better Call Saul if Vince Gilligan and the rest of the crew are down for it.
It’d be a tricky one, given that in the timeframe Better Call Saul is set in, Walter White was still a frustrated chemistry teacher and not a meth kingpin or anyone interesting really. But Gilligan is a trickster god when it comes to yarns, so who knows what he could cook up.
Cranston also said he’s been approached to direct an ep of BCS and may do so in future, but his biggest fear is spoiling the show because he loves it so much. If only we all had that degree of creative freedom.
