Several cast members of The Real Housewives of New York are under fire for making transphobic comments during a runway show at New York Fashion Week.

Sonja Morgan shared a video of the show to her Instagram Stories where she could be heard making offensive remarks in the background.

“Who is that?” Morgan can be heard asking Dorinda Medley as Miz Cracker walks the catwalk. “Oh, that’s a guy, right?”

She also made similar offensive remarks in a now-deleted video of transgender model Yasmine Petty on the runway.

“Well, with a body like that, it’s a guy,” Medley remarked. “That’s a guy.”

“Yeah, with a body like that it’s a guy, you’re absolutely right,” Morgan commented.

Petty later called them out while speaking to Page Six Style.

“I was really excited to do the fashion show for Garo Sparo for New York Fashion Week because he was using models of diversity,” Petty said.

“And I knew they were filming the Housewives of New York and I knew they were front row and literally, as I was walking down the runway, I heard them making these statements.”

She noted that the women can be seen laughing as she walks down the runway  in another video taken from the event.

“It’s pretty disheartening and disappointing, especially this day in age and being in New York City,” Petty added.

“My philosophy is that people can’t choose their sexual orientation. They can’t choose their gender identity. They can’t choose or not choose to have a disability or a mental illness or even their race, but things people can choose to do is not to be rude and cruel to people over things they have no control over.”

It’s likely that all this will be covered on the next season of RHONY.
