Robert Pattinson has just appeared on the March cover of man mag Details and in addition to a typically ‘NSFW’ photo shoot, he profferred a couple of ‘NSFV’ (Not Safe For Vagina) responses in the interview.
Apparently, the shoot – which had Patz dressed in dapper suits and lounging about with ladies in both topless and bottomless states of undress – made him a little nervous and he struggled to really ‘let go’.
He said: “I really hate vaginas. I’m allergic to vagina. But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours. But I wasn’t exactly prepared. I had no idea what to say to these girls. Thank God I was hungover.”
What does that mean?
Is it an unusually cryptic revelation of gay-dom? Is it an amusing British in-joke that has reached the wrong – and very confused – audience? Or, could it be that he actually has an honest-to-goodness physiological allergy to vagina?
