‘Bachie’ Douche Canoe Jess Is Being Investigated By Noosa Council & You Hate To See It

Bachelorette

In shit you just can’t make up, Noosa Council is investigating Councillor Jess Glasgow over an alleged breach of conduct from during his debut on The Bachelorette last night.

Jess rocked up to his first meeting with Angie Kent wearing a red cape – an actual red flag around his shoulders – and he also carried a throne. He gave Angie a key to his apartment, but not the address, because Angie will have to “work” for that. He’s an absolute douche canoe, that’s the gist of it.

Noosa Council has confirmed to Newscorp that it will refer Jess to the Office of the Independent Assessor over an alleged breach of the Councillor’s Code of Conduct.

The Office of the Independent Assessor told 10Daily it will review the complaint once it is received. Noosa Council is reportedly waiting until all the episodes with Jess in them have dropped.

“Cr Glasgow did not seek approval from myself and I only found out about his involvement after the show had been recorded,” Mayor Tony Wellington said in a statement.

Though Jess wasn’t representing Noosa Council on the show, Wellington said he is aware Jess kept on referring to his job and Noosa… a lot.

Wellington said Jess’s behaviour on the show was not reflective of the Noosa Council and its community.

As a result of said behaviour, Noosa copped quite a bit of shit on the socials, which isn’t the greatest look for the city.

Jess, unsurprisingly, has set his Instagram account to private. But according to Newscorp, he spent a chunk of this morning telling pissed off Noosa folk that his stint on Bachie was “just some harmless entertainment”.

The people, they’re not pleased.

Jess’s journey on The Bachelorette will continue tonight, and if the previews are anything to go by, it appears Angie unleashes on him for – I assume – saying more dumb shit.

“I will never allow a man to fuck with my sisterhood,” she says in the preview.

“If a man can’t accept and respect what I am putting down, I’d rather be single for the rest of my life.”

Tune in 7.30pm tonight on Channel 10.
