Netflix Reveals New Cast / Monster Fodder Of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2

There’s a second season of Stranger Things coming atcha next year, and earlier today, the producers of the show revealed the two new kids who will be joining the cast as potential tasty monster treats in season two.
Dacre Montgomery, of the upcoming Power Rangers reboot, and Sadie Sink, of American Odyssey, will be adding their talents to the series next year as characters called Billy and Max, who are step-brother and step-sister.
Per the reveal in Entertainment Weekly, Billy is a “hyper-confident” type who:
” … steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games, and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma, is a violent and unpredictable nature.”

Yup, that certainly sounds like your standard-issue ’80s teen movie antagonist right there. Max, meanwhile, is:

“… a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her.”
In addition to the new cast members, Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington, and Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, have been upgraded to full-time cast members this time around.
Season two of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix in 2017.
