On Friday, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey saved pop music by releasing their song and vid for the Charlie’s Angels track ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’.

After close analysis of the video, fans reckon they’ve spotted shade directed at Miley’s ex husband, Liam Hemsworth.
In the vid, Cyrus beats up a handsome man who has been chained to a chair. Punters are convinced that said man is supposed to represent the Aussie actor.
One of the reasons is that throughout their relationship, Hemsworth’s pet name for Cyrus has always been ‘angel’, a word that Cyrus sings about in a negative way on the track while she’s attacking the poor bloke.
In her verse, Cyrus sings, “Uh, don’t call me angel when I’m a mess/ Don’t call me angel when I get undressed/ You know I, I don’t like that, boy/ Uh, I make my money, and I write the checks/ So say my name with a little respect.”

The other reason why fans reckon Liam is the inspo behind the track is because apparently the bloke in the chair looks like the Hunger Games star.
I mean, sure they’re both babes but that’s the only comparison I see.
But hey, the people have spoken!

While there’s still a question mark hanging over this theory, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that Cyrus’ recent song ‘Slide Away’ was directed at Liam ‘coz there are tons of obvi references hidden in the lyrics and music video.
