Miley Cyrus, Zero Fucks Given, Told Her Exes To ‘Eat Shit’ On The Project Last Night

If, like me, you’re a ‘yuge Miley Cyrus stan, then you will know that she’s just dropped her incred new album, Plastic Hearts, and she’s been accompanying it with many a gritty video posted to social media.

At the end of her ‘Prisoner’ music video, for example, a message pops up that reads: “In loving memory of all my exes. Eat shit.” A clear, concise and powerful message, I feel.

Not only does she want them to “eat shit”, but the “in loving memory of” part implies… erm… death.

Yesterday, the singer appeared on Australia’s very own The Project where I was absolutely stunned to see that the messaging was highlighted for Aussie viewers to see during primetime, especially considering two of her very famous exes are, in fact, Australian (ex hubby Liam Hemsworth and the bloke she dated after him, Cody Simpson).

When pressed about the messaging by Lisa Wilkinson, Miley responded: “I think life can be painful, and sometimes poking fun and laughing along, I always feel like life is laughing at me and pulling strings,” she explained.

“I think that was a way that I was able to fight back at that and poke a little fun at it and create something that was campy and that was the perfect book-end for what we made, you know.”

So not only was the message shown in all its glory, but she actually discussed the sentiment and, well, she did not take it back. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Check it out below:

It comes one week after Miley Cyrus gave some insight into her divorce from Liam Hemsworth during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

“Me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, ‘What could be purposeful about this?’ I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him,” she said. “And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will.”

She also acknowledged “there was too much conflict” in their relationship.

“When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone,” she said. “I don’t get off on drama or fighting.”

It’s also important to mention that Miley Cyrus briefly dated The Hills star Kaitlynn Carter between Liam and Cody and their whirlwind romance is rumoured to be the subject of her new song ‘Angels Like You’, which appears on Plastic Hearts.
