Following in Tim Robards‘ tasteful Italian leather footsteps, please welcome the star of The Bachelor Australia Season 2: Blake Garvey.
Here’s what we know about him: he’s 31, a real estate agent from Perth, half-African American and – according to his profile on Acton Real Estate Carine Glades’ website – known for his “deep baritone voice (he’s been likened to Barry White)”.
He’s also, like last season’s bachelor, a part-time model (and possible air hostess in the ’60s): he won Perth modelling agency Crazy Sexy Cool’s best male model award in 2013.

He told PerthNow he’s been single for 18 months and doesn’t have an ideal woman: “It’s someone who’s got their heart in the right place, who’s going to have a good personality and someone who is going to be real about who they are and doesn’t hide behind anything.”
Last year’s season of The Bachelor was Ten’s highest-rating Sunday night show of the year, so the flagging network’s got to be hoping that they’ll be able to turn their fortunes around with this one.
