Australia, meet your new Bachie: Mr Jimmy Nicholson. The Bachelor Australia Instagram made the spicy announcement early this morn that the smoking hot pilot has been cast as the leading lad for the Channel Ten dating series in 2021.

The 31-year-old former model told The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential that he was hella pumped about signing on for the series as he’s v. v. v. ready to find lurve.
“I am ready to open up my heart and meet someone,” he told the publication.
He went on to detail what he’s after in a gal, so potential hopefuls, pls take note.
“I hope to meet someone with similar values that I can have fun with and that shares the same zest for life as myself,” he added.
“The Bachelor franchise has produced many success stories and I hope to be the next.”

The publication adds that Jimmy made the decision to sign on for The Bachelor after losing his job last year due to COVID. Apparently he’s struggled to find his ideal match for years because he’s “never in the same spot for too long,” but since he finally has some downtime (literally), he’s ready to find ~*The One*~.
Jimmy is reportedly of New Zealand and Fijian heritage (fucking finally – some diversity!) and is a fresh face to the Bachelor franchise.
The 2021 season of The Bachelor is currently being filmed, and will likely premiere after Easter.
