Lindsay Lohan is really making the absolute most of her trip to Australia – holding up production of The Masked Singer with her ciggie breaks, bailing on Have You Been Paying Attention? to wash her hair, and so on.

This week, the Mean Girls star had a red hot go at the notoriously-hard-to-perfect Aussie accent during an interview with Studio 10. Speaking to Angela Bishop, she revealed she’s keen to try a local classic, saying: “I’m hanging for a meat pie, get me one straight away.”
When most people try an Aussie accent, they veer into cockney territory, but credit to Lindsay, she actually has the flattened vowels and pack-a-day smoker’s rasp down pretty well, and this is a fairly solid effort. You can judge for yourself in the below video:

In related news, Linds recently reached out to the Hemsworth brothers, asking why they didn’t meet her in “Sydney or Bondi“. Those are absolutely the same thing, but once again, we’ll give her points for effort in her quest to possibly-maybe-definitely snag a newly-single Liam Hemsworth.
The first season of The Masked Singer will premiere on Monday September 23 on Ten, with Lindsay, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Dannii Minogue on the judging panel, and host Osher Gunsberg.
