Lindsay Lohan Shared Then Deleted A Snippet Of New Tune & Yep, A Bop Is Definitely Brewing

Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram today to share what looked like a snippet of new music and yes, she’s well and truly coming for the crown.

The tune, which sampled a slowed-down version of Alice Deejay‘s “Better Off Alone”, featured LiLo crooning, “I don’t like the parties in L.A.” It subsequently sent Twitter into meltdown.

Here’s where things get interesting…  She’s since deleted the video from her Instagram.

Lucky for you though, I’m the Nancy Drew of reporting, so here it is:

Why did she delete it, though? Was she bound by legal obligations? Did she feel cute but delete later? To be honest, the fact that she deleted it makes me think that she’s saving it for a release soon.

According to Page Six, LiLo recently signed a deal with Universal’s Casablanca Records, so this theory could actually make sense. (For context, Casablanca Records released her iconic records Speak and A Little More Personal (Raw).)

I didn’t realise how much I’d missed Lindsay in music until I heard this new snippet and now I have fanny flutters at the prospect of a third studio album.

Twitter was also quick to note that she’d captioned the Instagram video, “pose bitch (beautiful.intelligent.talented.charming.honest).” Could this relate to a potential album title? Is she trying to speak to us? I have so many questions.

Either way, I can’t believe Lindsay single-handedly ended parties in LA. Wig.

Watch this space. In the meantime, go and stream her debut album, Speak. It’s fucking inspired.
