In a move that is entirely expected from someone as fierce as Keira Maguire – please girl, don’t ever change – the Bachelor contestant, and hopefully next year’s Bachelorette, is ready to say “See ya!” to her so-called mate who decided to blab the details of her split from Jarrod Woodgate to the media.

As she tells The Fix, Maguire was absolutely shattered when she found out that a trusted friend had dished on her painful break-up to the tabloids, with the ensuing story quoting her exactly. Still, Maguire says she doesn’t yet know which ‘friend’ leaked the convo.
You speak to your friends in confidence and you see an article where one of your friends has gone behind your back and sold a story. And then his family have said, ‘Well this article has come from you,’ but it actually hasn’t.
She went on to say that while it seems she happily speaks to the media, there are certain things she chooses to keep private, instead giving us vultures “surface level” info to keep the content mills churning.
I’m really disappointed that I’ve trusted people with my information and they’ve sold a story and made money off me. It’s really hard to know who’s done it. I know I’ve said those things because the [source’s] words sound exactly the same as mine.

The plan of attack is to figure out the culprit and cut them TF out of her life – because who needs that kind of backstabbing energy in their lives amirite? Keira says it best: “The thing is, lucky I know people, because I will find out whoever has done it and I won’t be talking to them again. I hope it was worth the friendship.”

On the subject of Woodgate’s nasty words about her to the press, she reckons he “needs to have a bit more respect“.
He’s probably taking it a bit too far. There’s a certain level of privacy you need to respect. I’ve struggled with certain things he’s said. I said one thing about earning more money than him but that was in defence… But he’s going out of his way to intentionally attack me.
While Maguire posted on Insta today that she wants both her and Woodgate “to be happy & move forward with our lives“, adding she loves him still and wishes him all the future happiness, just all of it, it seems unlikely that this saga is going to finish up any time soon.
