Junior Masterchef is officially over, and I can’t help but feel sad that I’ll no longer get to see all those cute faces every week.
The final three Georgia, Filo and Carter had to battle it out in two rounds cooking two different courses. The first being a main course, and the second a dessert.
However, the judges teased that they would be joined by very special guest judges (who had apparently been watching their journey for a while).

No not Gordon Ramsey, Filo.
Filo wanted Gordon Ramsey. Let’s make that happen next series please!! #JrMasterChefAU

The guest judges were actually their mums, and holy hell it was the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen .
As soon as the mum’s walked in………they should be so proud. 🤗#JrMasterChefAU pic.twitter.com/EekgCESVle

Filo, Georgia and Carter introduced their mums to the judges and again, my heart was so full.
“My mum gives me this energy that makes me want to cook for life,” Filo said when asked about how his mum inspires his cooking.
Meanwhile, Georgia was worried that her mum would be her toughest critic.
‘I’m more scared on my mum than the judges’ I know that feeling #JrMasterChefAU

Filo decided to cook an Egyptian Fried Rice, like his mum used to cook for him when he was a “kid”. Um, Does someone want to tell him that he’s actually still a child?
Mum made it when I was a kid 😂😂 ok Filo #JrMasterChefAU

Junior Masterchef must’ve been trying to find a way to make the kids more stressed, because they hired a live orchestra to play suspenseful music, while the kids cooked.
Does the orchestra take requests? Can they do Khe Sahn? #JrMasterChefAU pic.twitter.com/NPZwv3K1uP

Georgia was her sassy self, as usual.
HAHAHAHAHA. Georgia speaking for all people everywhere. “Who decided to invite our parents”. Hahaha. Yessss #JrMasterChefAU

Unfortunately, Georgia’s sassiness still couldn’t make up for the fact that Ben was gone.
I hope they bring back the other juniors. I want to see the King himself, Ben #JrMasterChefAU

Filo buying the best dog food ever with his $25k?! Best. Ever. #JrMasterChefAU

Jock just snacking on a slice of lambstrap before taking over the orchestra with his wooden spoon is the right kind of chaotic energy for this finale #JrMasterChefAU

Georgia explained that both her and her mum are perfectionists, which made for excellent TV as her mum yelled at her from the gantry.
georgia’s mum, just let her do her thing!!!!! #jrmasterchefau

Georgia’s Mum is intense 😳 #JrMasterChefAU

All three chefs cooked food that represented their heritage, and it was so cute. Georgia cooked Sri Lankan curry, Filo cooked Egyptian rice and Carter cooked an Aussie lamb back strap.
Georgia’s mum is the luckiest person on this planet. Has a mum and daughter cooking amazing food for her! #JrMasterChefAU

Then it was onto dessert, but Filo had a brain freeze (no pun intended) and forgot how to cook hazelnut cake. NOOO.
Oh Filo what’s happened…… #JrMasterChefAU pic.twitter.com/8nBj6bQGrL

But he made a comeback.
And Filo is back in the game……. #JrMasterChefAU pic.twitter.com/ObhQ3hi0TZ

Georgia talked about how her dessert was a combination of Sri Lanka and Australia, like her heritage and I think I nearly cried. I am Sri Lankan/Australian, this girl is literally me. OMG.
Then Georgia’s mum tried to tell her that her coconut dish was burning, and my girl clapped TF back, like the queen she is.
#JrMasterChefAU
Georgia’s mum: quick the coconut’s burning
Georgia: 🙄 not burning, toasting— ness (@CaptainTabouli) November 9, 2020
Georgia’s Mum needs to just expect a takedown every time she speaks! 😂😂😂 #JrMasterChefAU

Love.
On #JrMasterChefAU I’m really going to miss Filo’s accent, Carter’s positivity and Georgia’s resilience. Whoever wins deserves it.

Georgia had a little breakdown about her Tropical Mess dessert, but recovered sensationally. I wish I could be as resilient as these kids.
Georgia, you little pocket rocket, how dare you make me cry so much! #JrMasterChefAU
— Amber Jamieson (@AmberPickette) November 9, 2020
It should be illegal to make Georgia, or any of the Junior MasterChef kids, cry. Someone make it illegal. #JrMasterChefAU
