Now, if you read any of mine and my colleague Mel‘s Bachelor In Paradise recaps from earlier this year, you’ll know that I wasn’t the biggest fan of one Jake Ellis. But there’s a big difference between acting like a gronk on a ridiculous reality dating show and acting like a gronk off-screen, and I concede he’s probably a semi-decent person in real life.

Jake recently rekindled his relo with Bachie squeeze Megan Marx so that’s all very nice for him, but turns out there is some, er, trouble in paradise.
On his Instagram today, Jake posted a PSA to his 82k followers to look out for some nasty piece of work pretending to be Jake. The nerve of people.
In his story, Jake called out an Insta account by the name of @jakeeellis86 (notice the cheeky extra ‘e’ — Jake’s handle is @jakeellis86) for sliding into the DMs of his female followers and generally just being a gigantic fucking creep.
He urged people to report the account, which Jake himself is unable to do because the Fake Jake blocked him. RUDE.
The whole thing echoes another creepy incident from last year, in which former Bachelorette contestant James Trewethie called out at least three deadshits posing as him on dating sites.
My take? Just don’t do this, gronks of Instagram. It’s wrong on so many levels.
