Australia‘s Bachelor in Paradise stars Megan Marx and Jake Ellis are back together, Marx shared on Instagram this evening.

The couple, who split up back in August, both shared a loving post about their relationship and thanked their supporters at the time.
Earlier this evening, Marx shared an emotional post explaining she had spent their past relationship “with one foot in and one foot out” for reasons kept private but after spending time abroad, Marx came home to someone who had “fought relentlessly for me, and has taken time to know me, and love me.”
Marx’s full post reads:
I have a pile of love letters in the drawer next to my bed. They’re all from Jake and most of them I didn’t deserve. I spent the course of our relationship with one foot in and one foot out, and the letters are pleas to remind me what we had, what I’d be giving up if I ran.
I did run though, eventually.
I went to Bali and intrastate and dated bitter frustration and remorse.
I came home nearly two months later to my apartment filled with roses, fairylights, a home-cooked meal, a playlist of all my favourite music and, a love letter. I’m not saying that I didn’t have some reasons to run, because relationships aren’t perfect, but I am saying that I found someone that took responsibility, fought relentlessly for me, and has taken time to know me, and love me. I said in Paradise that I couldn’t imagine my life without you @jakeellis86 and that hasn’t changed. You’re my best friend and my home.

Ellis commented that he “never did and never will imagine my life without you. You’re my person. The best is yet to come my amazing girl.”
Bachie in Paradise co-stars Elora Murger and Samual Cochrane both commented their congratulations.
Marx and Ellis’ reunion make them the only couple to stay together after their season of Bachelor in Paradise, outlasting Jarrod Wootgate and Keira Maguire, Tara Pavlovic and Cochrane, and the 2018 Bachelorette Ali Oetjen and her then partner Grant Kemp.
