Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds – hear one name and the chances are you’ll hear Jackman savagely shutting down Reynolds’ strong desire to have a Wolverine x Deadpool crossover movie.

If you’re unfamiliar with Reynolds’ dream, the Deadpool actor has been pushing some sort of crossover since 2015 – at least.
Not sure if it’s been done, but what if Logan and Deadpool enlist in the Navy’s elite Top Gun Program? #volleyball https://t.co/Pi9UbxcJ0z

As far as Jackman tells the media, he’s always been a hard no on the subject. As far as we can tell from Jackman and Reynolds’ relationship online, they absolutely froth viciously trolling each other.

A mature response:
A GOOD BOY.
Not to mention, Reynolds and John Krasinski took a cheeky lil’ jab at Jackman earlier this week.
On Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, Jackman was chatting about his new film The Front Runner when Geist brought up a past interview he did with Reynolds.
In it, Reynolds – out of the goodness of his heart – said a crossover is the right way to go since Jackman has “just been failing constantly” since the Wolverine franchise.
“[Reynolds] is relentless,” Jackman told Geist.
“He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes, and forms and I said ‘Well, you know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine. I mean, maybe a cameo from Deadpool – I just think, everyone’s over it – Deadpool – I don’t know.”
Obviously a joke but still, ooooooft.
As for that lil’ career jab?
“You’re such a dag, Ryan.” – Possibly the most Dad Jackman insult ever.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if that Wolverine x Deadpool crossover ever happens but in the meantime, Jackman did say Wolverine will most definitely be back… he just won’t be starring as the superhero.
