Stucky fans rise up, we may have just received confirmation from The Falcon & The Winter Soldier that Bucky Barnes is canonically bisexual. What is a Stucky? Who is Bucky? If you don’t know the answer to these questions, you’re in for a wild time, my friend.
First of all, let’s rewind back to that killer March 19 premiere of the new Disney+ show The Falcon & The Winter Soldier (TFATWS). Secondly, Stucky is the ship name for Steve (Captain America) and Bucky (The Winter Soldier). For a long time, it was just a random pairing made by adoring Tumblr fans, but now it looks like there might be some credit to it.
Okay, so, in the premiere ep, Bucky goes on a date with a woman, which is something he hasn’t done in a very long time.
On the date, he mentions that he’s been trying his luck on the dating apps, but finds it crazy that so many users have tigers in their profile pictures.
Tiger pictures hey? That’s interesting, because usually you only see tiger pictures on dating apps from men. In fact, there are articles from as far back as 2014 that talk about the whole tiger phenomenon, so its a pretty known thing.
I have so many questions now, and it seems a lot of others do too.
Straight people, I have a question. On Tinder, is it men who tend to post pictures with tigers all the time? Or women? I ask because Bucky complained about all the tiger pictures he sees on Tinder. (I want him to be bi so bad. LOL.) #FalconAndTheWinterSoldier

So, either the writers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier just made a blunder in trying to make a joke, or they lowkey confirmed that Bucky has his dating apps set to bi-fkn-sexual.
We really hope this isn’t the case of some serious queerbaiting going on, because that would suck. Please, do not do that to us. Not in 2021.
This isn’t the first time that Bucky has been hinted as bi, either.
Back in 2016, the writers of a new Black Widow comic addressed the possibilities of the titular character getting into a relationship with Bucky Barnes. To this the writers said:
“[Both] have had a crush on Steve Rogers at some point in the past.”
A crush?? Sir, I’m gonna need you to clarify. This is just like when people refer to their bf or gf as ‘partner’, and leave you wondering if they’re straight or not. I am currently experiencing queer agony. Explain!
To make things more interesting, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, has been seen at conferences wearing a Stucky hoodie. Can we instead get some confirmation on whether Bucky is a queer icon or not, Mr Feige? Thanks.
