One possible answer: the new, full-length trailer for Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuting during the biggest television event of the year. How’s that for patriotism?

Chris Evans stars as the jingoistic franchise captain; Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson also return to the Avengers offshoot as S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Black Widow and Nick Fury respectively, and Sebastian Stan signs on as “fast, strong” best friend turned nemesis “with a metal arm,” Bucky Barnes, or the Winter Soldier. Explosions ensue, natch. 

Captain America: The Winter Soldier has its Australian premiere on April 3rd.
