Eddie Redmayne, freckled heartthrob and Oscar winner, has been confirmed to play Newt Scamander in the new Harry Potter movie, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them‘.

In Case You Missed Your Childhood, the film is taken from a Hogwarts textbook, and is about the life and travels of its young author, Newt Scamander.
The screenplay is being written by J.K. Rowling herself (who has yet to tweet about this fantastic news – J.K. WHERE ARE YOU?) and is the Harry Potter film your heart’s been yearning for, which tbh is still not over Fred’s death.

“Eddie is a fearless actor, brimming with invention, wit, and humanity,” said director David Yates, who also directed the last four Harry Potter films. “I couldn’t be more excited about the prospect of of working with him as we start this new adventure in J.K. Rowling’s wonderful world, and I know she feels the same way.”
