DROP EVERYTHING. A new trailer for ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them‘ has dropped, and sweet merciful crap is it a ripper.
As well as getting our first proper look at Eddie Redmayne as world-famous magizoologist Newt Scamander, the trailer reveals some very important details that strongly connect the story with the Britain-located Harry Potter universe.
They include:
- Newt Scamander was kicked out of Hogwarts.
- Only Albus Dumbledore – then the Transfiguration Professor – tried to prevent that from happening.
- Jacob Kowalski (a Muggle / No-Maj) has the same taste in books as your typical English eccentric:
We also get our first look at a devastatingly handsome Colin Farrell as Percival Graves, right-hand man to the President of MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) and Carmen Ejogo, who plays the president herself. 1920s America has a female president, what a goddamn time.
Carmen as President Madam Seraphina Picquery.
‘Fantastic Beasts’ hits cinemas November 18 this year.
JFC just let it be spring already.
