Booka From MAFS Serves Passive Aggressive Vibes With Live Performance Of Song About Brett

Booka, Brett

Footage has emerged today of Married At First Sight star Booka Nile performing her snarky tribute song Brett live on stage in Western Australia, and it really kinda seems like there’s no love lost between the reality star and her fake husband.

As you may recall, Booka, of Perth indie band Internet Friends, was told by the MAFS marriage experts to cater to Brett Helling for a night. She responded by writing a wildly passive aggressive song in which all the lyrics were his name.

Last night, Internet Friends performed the song in WA, and the ever-reliable So Dramatic! Podcast shared the footage on Instagram. You can watch below, should you so choose:

According to Wall Of Sound, the band didn’t say much other than: “Tonight we’re performing in Nolgart at the Bolgart Hotel and then tomorrow at the Toodyay Hotel.”

Earlier this week, Brett attended a dinner party with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa alongside various MAFS co-stars, but not Booka, leading to speculation that the couple are done.

He also took a swipe at his TV wife’s music, saying: “She actually has a beautiful voice but the metal music sounds like a car crash.”

So there you go, I guess? We’ll always have Brett Brett Brett Brett Brett.

Booka, at least, is making the most of her fifteen MAFS minutes and has released a whole album of music based on the show:
