Bindi Irwin has just given birth to a wonderful, little bebe called Grace Warrior Irwin Powell with husband Chandler Powell and yes, I do see that adorable nod to Bindi’s late-father and Wildlife Warrior Steve Irwin.
On Friday night, Irwin took to Instagram to share the big news, but seems to have turned off comments for now. Which is totally understandable as the new mum probably doesn’t want to deal with responding to the millions of ‘congratulations’ messages she’d likely receive.
“Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter,” Bindi wrote on Instagram.
“Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior.
“Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
This also proves that wild rumour false, which stipulated Bindi Irwin already gave birth in secret. The Daily Mail suggested that because Bindi was obscuring her stomach with a Red Panda in a photo she was hiding that she’d given birth. Which is a MASSIVE stretch, even for The Daily Mail.
Bindi and Chandler announced they were expecting in August, before sharing that they were having a daughter in September.
There must be something in the water because a little over an ago, Emma Stone also gave birth. So if this isn’t your sign to go knocked up, I don’t know what is.
