Bindi Irwin‘s husband Chander Powell has created a post supporting and commending his wife on Instagram. The post comes after Bindi claimed her grandfather Bob Irwin caused her “psychological abuse.” On Saturday, Bindi left social media after receiving intense media scrutiny.

On Father’s Day, Bindi Irwin made a post acknowledging the amazing fathers in her life, from the legendary Steve Irwin to her husband Chandler, who is a recent father himself.
One individual commented that she missed Bob Irwin, the estranged father of Steve, and that he should have been given a shout-out as well. To this, Bindi responded with a very long comment that made it clear that her grandfather “has shown no interest” in spending time with her.
She also claimed that her entire life with him has been filled with “psychological abuse.”
“Publicly he continues to claim that he wants to spend time with us while privately my entire life has been psychological abuse from him,” she wrote.
“He has returned gifts I’ve sent him after he opened them, he has ignored my correspondence and from the time I was a little girl he has ignored me, preferring to spend time doing anything else rather than being with me.
“He has never said a single kind word to me.”

After this, people who ‘know’ Bob began to speak out in droves, saying that he would be ‘heartbroken’ if they told him the full extent of Bindi’s words, claiming that he is only partially aware of what she has said about him.

Now, using the same image that Bindi did for her departure post, Chandler has entered the fray to compliment his wife on her strength at this time.
“You inspire me with your unwavering kindness and your ability to stand up for what is right,” Chandler wrote to his Instagram.
“You are the strongest and most beautiful person inside and out. Grace has an amazing mama to look up to.”
Have to agree with Chandler in this family affair, Bindi is incredibly strong for everything she does, and she’s only 22.
