The ‘Bachie’ Rejects Reckon Angie’s Already Set On Her Winner So Everyone Else Can Leave

Angie

Three, three, blokes went home on The Bachelorette last night, bringing us to the Top Ten. In last night’s episode, we said goodbye to Tom Bowdidge, Adam Sellars, and Scot Fuller. We might not have seen much of these guys on screen but Tom and Adam did have a couple of things to say about the Ryan drama, the “frontrunner”, and Angie Kent.

“We all know there’s a frontrunner in there,” Tom said. “Watching, and even just being there, you know it’s Carlin – he’s going to win this.”

I mean, probably.

Tom thinks Ciarran and Timm also have a really good connection with Angie. Shocker. But Tom was actually surprised by this, revealing he didn’t notice the good vibes at any of the cocktail parties. Probably because he was just a tad distracted by dog man Ryan.

ICYMI: dog man Ryan dogged the boys when he pulled Angie aside at a cocktail party after he already copped a rose on a single date.

“Yeah, I just had enough of – I thought that Ryan didn’t respect the rest of us – so I sort of just voiced my opinion,” Tom said. “I just think he had all that time with Angie and he got a rose, he basically had that one on one date, he had the one on one time in the group date, so I just thought, let the other guys have a chat.”

Wellbeing expert Adam told PEDESTRIAN.TV he hosted a slew of guided meditation sessions to help both Angie and the guys cope with any stress and anxiety they had about being on The Bachelorette.

“It is a scenario where they’re used to having their phones and social media and all of a sudden, you’re just waiting for the next filming period,” he said. “When you’re not sure what’s coming up, sometimes that’s when the anxiety builds.”

Adam also shared his thoughts on the whole Ryan drama, revealing a lot of the blokes actually pulled the same move.

“You saw a lot of guys do it – Ryan included – where they had a full date but they would also just jump in there,” he said. Again, shocker.

“It’s all fine to do that but I just think you should have some respect for your fellow man as well but not everybody sees it that way.”

Adam reckons Angie will end up picking either Carlin or Timm. But mostly Carlin.

“Carlin, he’s just, he’s a genuinely nice bloke and I mean, look at the guy. He sings, he plays the guitar. He’s the whole package.”

“Towards the end I felt like I probably wasn’t the guy that she was looking for. We didn’t have that connection but based on her picking a lot of the younger guys, the party guys – apart from Ryan – I was just kind of like ‘I don’t really know why she’s here’. I wouldn’t have picked those guys initially. But I’m not Angie.”

And yes, I did ask about Jamie.

“He is intense,” Adam said. “He’s a nice guy, but he’s a lot.”

Adam said he used to go for walks along the Bachie driveway for an hour a day just to get away from it all, but Jamie invited himself on them too.

“He would walk with me and just spill his feelings and all of that sort of stuff. I’d go for a walk for my mental space so in the end I kind of had to avoid him a bit.”

Tom said more of the same thing, adding that Jamie’s just a “really genuine person.”

“He wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s a really emotional person which can come across quite intense. But I liked him, I just think he came across the wrong way.”

The Bachelorette continues tonight 7.30pm on Channel 10.
