Ashley Graham & Em Ratajkowski Sleigh In First Days Of Love Mag’s Advent

Every year, without fail, Love Magazine spoofs out a deeply lascivious advent calendar.

If you’re not acquainted with the British publication’s annual celebration of sexiness, let us break it down for you: they round up the world’s most conventionally-attractive ‘it’ women, ask them to strip down to their underwear, take a video of said women doing something sexy and fun and release these bite-sized audiovisual nuggets of naughtiness daily in the lead up to Crimmus.

The crowd goes absolutely hog wild for it, because watching beautiful women celebrating their bodies and having a fun, sexy time is nice.

Last year we were gifted Kim Kardashian being an alien thingy in her knickers, Bella Hadid bouncin’ around bouncin’ around bouncin’ on a bosu ball and Stella Maxwell imitating Margot Robbie‘s infamous Wolf of Wall Street seduction scene.

This year, the calendar has chosen a very specific theme. That is, women doing exercise and being strong as hell.

Day 2 was the first official full-video release which saw Ashley Graham pulling a got dang sleigh through a wintery New York street, stopping only momentarily to smack herself on the ass with talcum-powdered hands:

“Shooting the Advent calendar,” says Ashley, “is a true expression of self-love and empowers women to embrace their own sexuality. This year we’re reminding women to #STAYSTRONG because we are powerful, we are resilient, and we run the world.”

On Day 3, Emily Ratajkowski went full Spaghett and doused herself in a carby concoction.

Yes, this certainly breaks the theme of exercise, but for good reason. Ratajkowski says she doesn’t actually exercise, and that she’d like to eat pasta and drink red wine instead and same:

The vid was posted to Instagram with a lengthy explanation of what the video means to Ratajkowski.

“To me, female sexuality and sexiness, no matter how conditioned it may be by a patriarchal ideal, can be incredibly empowering for a woman if she feels it is empowering to her,” she said. “The way I dress, act, flirt, dance, have sex – those are my decisions and they shouldn’t be impacted by men. Being sexy is fun and I like it.”

We like it, too.
