Simmer down, bitches, ‘coz A Quiet Place Part 2 is on its way and I’d like to avoid being savaged by monsters, if at all possible.
John Krasinski and his extremely talented missus Emily Blunt are back with the sequel to the hit film which scared you shitless back in 2018.
In the second flick, the actor / director has also taken on the role of writer, having penned the script.
The synopsis for the film is as follows:
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

The first flick received several award nominations, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score, Producers Guild of America Award for Best Theatrical Motion Picture, Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Blunt, which she later won. It was also nominated for Best Sound at the 72nd BAFTA Awards as well as for Best Sound Editing at the 91st Academy Awards.
It’s set to hit cinemas March 19, 2020.
