Fired White House Aide And Ex-‘Apprentice’ Star Says Trump Used Racial Slur

Omarosa Manigault Newman, a fired White House staffer and ex-contestant on The Apprentice, has claimed to have personally heard a tape of U.S. President Donald Trump dropping the N-word in conversation.

Newman, who is African-American, told NBC News she had been aware of the alleged tape for two years, and that hearing it confirmed “what I feared the most: That Donald Trump is a con and has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities.”

She added it confirms “that he is truly a racist.”

The former aide to President Trump did not specify exactly when the tape was purported to have been recorded, but said it was from the POTUS’ time as the host of the corporate reality TV show The Apprentice.

The alleged revelation came as Newman released audio she secretly recorded when she was booted from the White House in December.

She said she released the clip – which security experts have declared a massive breach of standards – to defend herself from a White House administration which constantly lies.

Her about-face also includes the admission she was “complicit” in helping Trump appeal to the African-American community.

All of this comes as Newman spruiks her new book, which is the latest in an ever-growing string of White House officials offering their own written accounts after leaving the administration.

Of course, if that alleged tape ever comes out, it might not even change anything. God knows the Access Hollywood recording didn’t seem to wipe much momentum off Trump’s campaign.
