Grab The Popcorn, Donald Trump Is Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ Next Month

The current season of Saturday Night Live opened with a sketch taking the piss out of Donald Trump, and now it appears the man himself will have the right of rebuttal.
It was announced earlier today that Trump, former host of The Apprentice and current aspiring Republican candidate for President of the United States, will host the November 7 episode of SNL.
This will be Trump’s second time hosting the show. His first was in 2004, after the successful first season of The Apprentice, and he didn’t hold back from being his usual self, saying in his opening monologue:
“It’s great to be here at Saturday Night Live, but I’ll be completely honest. It’s even better for Saturday Night Live that I’m here. Nobody’s bigger than me, nobody’s better than me, I’m a ratings machine.”
Trump’s return to hosting duties could be slightly awkward this time, given that NBC, the network that airs SNL, cut ties with him after controversial comments he made about Mexican immigrants during a speech.
The network refused to air the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, which it had formerly produced with Trump, and he threatened to sue them before finally buying NBC out of the Miss Universe group.
This bad blood, coupled with Trump’s Presidential hubris and the fact that most of the cast probably hate his fucking guts, should make for a memorable clusterfuck of an episode.
Grab the popcorn, this is going to be HUGE.
Here’s the show’s most recent Donald Trump cold open. The same episode featured a guest spot from prospective Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, playing against Kate McKinnon‘s version of her.
