With all of the July 30 priority booking tickets being snapped up by 4pm today, organisers have scrambled to get another pre-sale dated locked in, and it’s been confirmed for this Wednesday, August 1 from 12pm midday right HERE. Another priority booking code will be emailed out, so make sure you use your new one.

Remember to hit up the site from 11am to get yourself in the queue, so you can sit and watch thousands of people buy their tickets before you. And if you’re a scheming Slytherin trying to be cheeky and re-use today’s code to buy more tickets, well it won’t bloody work so don’t even try it.

The general public on sale for Cursed Child tickets is Monday August 6 from 9am, so if all else fails a second time at least you can try to score some coveted tickets then.

Cursed Child opens at Melbourne‘s Princess Theatre on Wednesday January 16, 2019, before officially opening on Saturday February 23 2019 and runs for the foreseeable future. Based on an original story by JK RowlingJack Thorne and John Tiffany and written by Thorne, the play is shown in 2 x 2.5 hour parts with a 2-hour break in between.

Set 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, the plot of Cursed Child revolves around now 40-year-old Harry’s younger son, Albus Severus Potter, and his troubled relationship with his famous dad.

Australia will become just the third country to score a production of the Cursed Child, which has been running since 2016 at London’s Palace Theatre and opened in New York on April 22 at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway.
