Good news, another round of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child tickets will go on sale to the general public at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday November 27, 2018, via the official website www.HarryPotterThePlay.com.
The creators of the record-breaking play, J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, recently said of the Aussie premiere:
“We are big Australiaphiles. Culturally, the climate, the people, the actors – it’s going to be amazing. Melbourne is absolutely the right city to go to for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
The play opens exclusively at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre with preview performances from January 2019. The booking period has been extended with new tickets to be released for performances up to and including Sunday December 1, 2019.
If you’re keen on nabbing tickets, head on over to the site and join the ‘Virtual Waiting Room’ at any time between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM AEDT tomoz and when they’re released, you’ll randomly be assigned a spot in the queue.
The Aussie cast features Gareth Reeves as Harry Potter, Lucy Goleby as his magical missus Ginny Potter and Sean Rees-Wemyss as their son Albus Potter; Gyton Grantley as Ron Weasley, Paula Arundell as Hermione Granger and Manali Datar as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley; Tom Wren as Draco Malfoy and William McKenna as his son Scorpius Malfoy.
