Anyone who’s seen a Bruno Mars show knows that the man likes to bring out all the bells and whistles including pyrotechnics but unfortunately this led to a mishap on his latest tour date.
Mars was performing in Glasgow when a rogue firework sparked a small fire on stage, forcing him, his band and his backup dancers to evacuate.
According to Glashow Live and Twitter users, the show was temporarily stopped and the fire was quickly extinguished with no one injured or harmed.
As the incident was going down, a safety message was shown on screen that read:
“This is a safety announcement. It is necessary to stop the show temporarily. Further information to follow.”

Mars later returned to the stage and jokingly ad-libbed lyrics about the fire during his song: ‘Calling All My Lovelies’.
“We burned the stage down in Glasgow,” he crooned, jokingly adding, “Better call the fire department when the Hooligans get on stage!”
#BrunoMars confirms the stage went on fire here at Glasgow Green due to a pyrotechnic which forced a temporary pause in the show. He then sings “we burned the stage down in Glasgow”. @BrunoMars pic.twitter.com/a8V6CqlOQz
