Aside from the – frankly, kinda funny – fact that some 700-odd Government officials and Police were among the names of Ashley Madison users leaked (seriously, who signs up to an adulterous dating website with their freaking work email??), it’s also worth noting that a whole mess of ordinary people are included in the massive leak.
For better or worse, it’s been a topic of conversation that’s dominated the media all today – including here – and commercial radio is having a field day with it.
Enter: Fitzy & Wippa – Nova‘s Sydney morning team – who were fielding calls from people with varying opinions on the matter.
And then they took one such call from a woman who expressed concern about her husband’s recent behaviour. Which then prompted them to plug his name into the Ashley Madison leak data array while she was still live on the air.
We repeat:
Honestly, and at the risk of sounding like bitter old fools, back in our day we had our own way of confronting infidelity. And we were happy with them, dag nab it.
Simpler times.
