Well this is an absolute bummer – Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis, who have long been one of Hollywood’s most adorable couples, have called off their engagement of almost seven years.
They seem to have been separated for some time, but the news has only recently come to light, with a source close to the situation telling PEOPLE:
“The split happened at the beginning of the year. It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.”
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have two children together – a son, Otis Alexander, aged 6, and a daughter, Daisy Josephine, aged 4.
The pair met in 2011, at a Saturday Night Live finale party, and immediately hit it off. They started dating soon after, and he popped the question two years later.
Sudeikis currently stars in the series Ted Lasso, which has proved to be a big hit for the Apple TV+ streaming service, and was recently renewed for a third season.
Olivia Wilde earned great acclaim for her debut feature Booksmart in 2019, and is currently directing Don’t Worry Darling, starring Harry Styles.
She is also attached to direct an untitled Sony/Marvel project. While details are under wraps, it is thought that the project involves Spider-Woman.
