Some Of The ‘MAFS’ Stars Are Reportedly “Furious” They Were Edited Out Of That Bonkers Finale

Welp, that’s a wrap on Married At First Sight 2020!

Last night, the reunion ep aired, revealing the state of our couples in the present day, but you will have noticed that not all of the pairings got screentime, despite the fact that all 24 participants had gathered for the reunion.

Daily Mail Australia reports that several of them were edited out and given just a few seconds of airtime, with an insider revealing they were either too controversial, or too “dull”.

“The producers wanted to end the season with a bang and some of the couples’ segments were just dull and there was nothing left to say,” the insider said.

“Their issues had already been resolved earlier in the season, so they wanted to focus on the bigger storylines.”

The couples with little to no screentime included: Amanda Micallef and Tash Herz, Josh Pihlak and Cathy Evans, Chris Nicholls and Vanessa Romito, Poppy Jennings and Luke Eglin, and Drew Brauer and KC Osborne.

The source adds that some of the aforementioned contestants were “furious” when they found out their scenes had been cut.

The source explained: “Many had spent months planning what they would say at the reunion, knowing it was going to be their last big moment. Some even learned lines.

“But in the end, they may as well have just stayed at home and not bothered.”

Yikes. Drama, drama, drama ’til the end, aye?
